Line Pumps
A line pump has a large hose which pumps concrete at ground level. While they can be attached to a truck or trailer, the long hose allows you to access harder to reach areas like alleyways. Boom Pumps
While line pumps run along the ground, boom pumps are raised into the air by a long arm, much like a crane. This makes them ideal for transporting concrete higher up, as well as ground level projects. As long as the truck can access the construction area, boom pumps are very useful. The extending arms swivel around for great access over a wide reach, but they can’t quite cover the same distance than line pumps do.
